Pupil Led Worship in Yr5
The Epiphany Celebration of the Word
Maxwell, Holly and Caitlin prepared and led a Celebration of the Word based on the feast of the Epiphany. When we returned to class, they gave each child a star and asked them to write a prayer for the 'stars' who help to guide us in our lives.
Being Attentive Celebration of the Word
Today Finley, Ruby and Isla prepared a CotW about Being Attentive. We invited our Year One prayer friends to join us and helped them understand it is good to have quiet times so we can stop and listen to God.
Year Five prepared some hearts with the word 'Listen' on and added some patterns. Now Year One will 'pray in colour' by decorating them and think about that important word: listen.

St. Teresa of Avila Celebration of the Word
As part of today's Celebration of the Word, we chose some key words from either the things we learnt about St. Teresa of Avila, or from the scripture reading. Then we used them to 'pray in colour'. We will continue to add to this over the coming weeks.
