In the loving peace, justice and joy of Jesus, we achieve.

Caritas Ambassadors

The Caritas Ambassadors are a selection of students who apply to lead the school in thinking about social justice issues in our local community, leading their own social action project. It also introduces them to practical examples of how we use Catholic Social Teaching to influence our work.

The Caritas Ambassadors become leaders of social action in their school, and responsible for sharing what they have learnt with those around them, especially sharing their increased understanding of the issues faced by their local community, and how they and their fellow pupils can address these to create a fairer society.

By their actions, the Caritas Ambassadors are witnesses to God’s faith by putting prayers into action and supporting those who are less fortunate than themselves.

The team are comprised of children in Year 5 and 6 and are led by Mr Ingram. At the start of the year, the team decide which groups they are going to support and what areas of the Catholic Social Teaching needs our attention. Together they create an action plan for the year that will raise awareness and encourage others into action themselves.
