CAD and 3D printing

Computer Aided Design is such a fun lesson.  I showed my nan what we had made and she couldn't believe it.  I had to show her a video on YouTube to show her what we had done and she couldn't believe that we were able to do this at school.

I loved the idea of using the program on the laptop, creating my own design and saving it, then coming to school the next day to see that Mrs Backen had printed my creation.

My favourite part was not making the keyring (even though this was fun), it was the idea that we could make a car with an axle.
