May is the month of the Mary
This is the month devoted to Our Lady. Traditionally, May prayer areas are filled with flowers surrounding a statue or image of Our Lady. Throughout the Catholic world, different cultures display different images and statues of Mary - this reminds us of the devotion to Our Lady throughout the world.
Our parish church is dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour so, every year, we celebrate a May Procession with the parish. This year, the Mini Vinnies also organised two May Processions with the school.
