Caritas Swop Shop
The Caritas children are organising a spare uniform drive on week beginning 24 March 2025, as well as guessing the number of sweets in a jar.
Rubery Swop Shop is a local charity on Rubery high street that helps families with donations of school uniform.
Uniforms can be expensive, family circumstances can change and sometimes keeping your children clean and warm can be more difficult than you'd ever imagined.
By recycling clothing, we are avoiding sending perfectly good clothes into the landfills. Instead, we have the opportunity to take care of God's creation while helping family and community.
We went to visit the Swop Shop to find out what they wanted for us - they need money to pay for postage for clothing sent by post, but also they want us to promote the Swop Shop so everyone in the local area can use their services.
